Studentpickup provides services where by students can book accommodation before
they leave their home country. By doing so, they will have one less thing to
worry about upon their arrival to the U.S, plus parents will know where their
child is in case of an emergency. Students can seek either Temporary
accommodation or Permanent accommodation services according to their needs.
Temporary accommodation doesn’t require you to sign a lease agreement or put in
a deposit. Students pay on a per night basis until they find a permanent
accommodation. Studentpickup encourages students to opt for temporary
accommodation. This gives new students the time to get adjusted to the culture
and decide on where they want to stay and with whom they want to stay.
Permanent accommodation requires student to sign a lease agreement with the
leasing office/landlord. Due to legal formalities involved, permanent
accommodation cannot be pre-booked from overseas. However students can complete
and submit the online permanent accommodation form. Once we receive the request,
we will get back to you via email with the options that best match your
preferences. If you find what you are looking for, you will be required to sign a
contract directly with the leasing office/landlord before moving in.
